We met Anil at an open house when searching for a home in the Riverdale area. We had talked to a few other agents, but had by far the best feeling from our interaction with Anil, so approached him to act as our buyers agent.

The first thing that strikes you about Anil is his warm personality and his remarkable patience in guiding you through the hurdles. I first met Anil at an open house he was hosting. I was immediately taken by his warm and approachable personality. So it didn't take me long to decide who I was going to call when I needed an agent to help me find a condo.

I met Anil Khera at an open house this past August and was immediately impressed with his professionalism. While the open house property he was showing was too small for my son’s needs, he listened to what was required and was very responsive in arranging for other property viewings, taking us out on showings within days of our first meeting.

After having worked with many real estate agents over the past 27 years as a buyer and seller, I recognized very quickly that Anil was impeccably responsive in his communication; returning calls and emails promptly, emailing suitable listing within 24 hours of our first meeting, and soon after in his listing of one of our properties.

Once we agreed on a listing date, Anil made recommendations on how to rearrange the furnishings to enhance the condo’s features, provided a listing price that maximized agent/buyer interest and a marketing plan that included his professional photographer ensuring great feature sheets and internet photo coverage were provided.

Anil made sure all the necessary details for appointment setting were covered to our satisfaction and the Royal Lepage staff provided excellent service to support his sales service.

While we hoped for close to asking, we were thrilled to receive multiples offers. Anil handled this potentially stressful situation with ease and helped us negotiate a selling price over our asking price!

Equally important was the post-sales service. Between handling the final documentation signings, arranging the purchaser visitations and re-negotiating a new closing date, Anil provided excellent and patient service.

We currently live in Richmond Hill and are interested in moving back downtown one day in the future. Anil offered to email us listings based on our preferences so that we familiarize ourselves with the current offerings and sales trends in our desired community.

We would definitely recommend Anil to our friends and family for any of their Real Estate needs. During our meetings, we had to opportunity to hear about his family, travels, and his love of downtown Toronto. We found him to be an enthusiastic, warm and genuine caring individual.

Many thanks to Anil Khera for making the purchase of our first home such a positive experience.

My wife and I first met Anil in January 2009 when the thought of jumping into the real estate market was still a new and uncertain idea. While exploring potential neighbourhoods one afternoon, we came across of a trail of open house signs which led us to Anil.

At first meeting, we recognized Anil’s patient and kind demeanour. We soon admitted that we were just starting our house hunt, and that we had a lot to learn. As we toured the house, Anil’s friendly manner put us at ease and we found ourselves comfortable asking all of the elementary questions that were coming to mind. In the end, we agreed that we would be happy to receive any listings that Anil thought would interest us, though we wanted some time to arrange financing before getting deep into the house hunt.

A few weeks later when our financial ducks were in line and we had seen some listings that grabbed us, we began a full fledged hunt that spanned many areas of the city. Anil was very generous with this time, sometimes spending full days chauffeuring us around to suitable listings that matched our criteria. As the process continued, we got to know Anil quite well. We learned quickly that Anil was not only a hard-working and motivated real estate agent, but also someone who kept our best interests in mind and someone we felt we could trust. We tested Anil’s skills as not only as a real estate agent, but also as a consultant and counsellor, looking sometimes for an unbiased third party to help us through our own decisions, and other times for his personal thoughts and opinions to guide us in the right direction. Anil consistently approached our questions with a thoughtful manner and an understanding of what we were going through as first time home buyers. We feel he always gave his honest opinion and offered sound advice, and we know that the last thing he wanted was for us was to end up with a house that wasn’t right for us.

When we finally found a house that we were ready to make an offer on, things had to happen quickly. By the second day that the house was on the market, there were three interested parties, and offers were to be presented that evening. Despite the time crunch, Anil maintained his patience as we tentatively made our own decisions. During the bidding process, Anil presented our offer beautifully to the selling agent and owners. So much so they invited us in for a drink to celebrate their acceptance!

Anil is a great agent! We found a really nice place for ourselves and our children that we would have never looked at without him. He guided us in terms of the big picture (neighbourhood) and details (of the house itself). We would have gone for something lesser in quality both in terms of location and the house itself had it not been for his advice. We met Nutan Brown at an open house a couple of years ago. We were impressed with her energy, commitment and warm personality, so we retained her card for future use. When we decided to sell our Bloor West Village duplex in 2008, we invited 3 local real estate agents to give us their professional feedback on the condition of the property, any renovations required and a realistic selling price. One well-known agent made a half-hearted attempt to get back to us. The other showed up as scheduled, and gave us a temptingly high estimate. Nutan was the third agent. We asked her to work with us because we felt that her estimate was the most realistic, and she followed up after then initial meeting, which told us that she was committed and reliable. She also involved the other member of her team right from the start - her brother Anil Khera, whose involvement added greatly to the project.

We had very little time to perform the renovations and cosmetic work needed to make our old Bloor West Village home more presentable. The painters that we had engaged two months before cancelled the week before they were supposed to start our large painting job. Nutan called her painter right away, and by the next week, we had an excellent painter who helped us to transform our house from dowdy to dynamite. Nutan and Anil were very hands-on during the renovation process, working together with us to get the job done in the timeframe we'd set out. They were always available with suggestions, suppliers and advice, and even offered to roll up their sleeves to pitch in to do some of the dirty work.

We listed our property the day before the economic trouble around the world last fall burst into the headlines. Almost immediately, a palpable hush fell over real estate activity in the city. During this unpredictable time, Nutan and Anil worked tirelessly and creatively to market and promote our property, and ran an open house every weekend until the house was sold. The recommendations that Nutan and Anil had given us at the beginning of the project stood us in very good stead when the market changed, and our duplex, which is a niche product, was sold in an amazing 5 weeks.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Nutan Brown team to anyone else. Nutan and Anil are a dynamic duo who are energetic, committed, down to earth, and most importantly - they get results. When first looking for a real estate agent, I had certain expectations of the kind of person that I wanted to assist me in my search for my first and new home. I told myself I would only work with someone who had my best intentions at heart. I had no idea what kind of property I wanted, whether it be a condo, townhouse, or a house???
So to begin my search, I wrote down a few phone numbers of agents from “For Sale” signs in the west-end and started my search. After many calls and many call backs from agents, I was not very impressed.
